MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES

Thai Therapy Studio specializes in therapeutic health care massage and relief of chronic pain.  If you are seeking therapeutic relaxation, balancing, relief from stress, pain, trauma, injury, muscle imbalance, over and under used muscles, bodily limitations and dysfuctions, you have come to the right place!  If you are unsure about what you may need please give Carrie a call to discuss.  All phone consultations are encouraged and free of charge.

Massage services offered include Traditional Thai Massage, Thai bodywork, Thai Table Massage, Clinical Therapy, Traditional Table Massage, Pre-Natal, and Lymphatic Massage.  Therapeutic Spa Treatments, SEVA Acupressure, and Reiki Services are also available.

Each massage session is tailored to your wishes and individual needs within the time amount you have chosen.  Sessions may be done on a floor mat, table, or both.  Carrie incorporates her knowledge of various techniques in massage sessions including acupressure, trigger point and neuromuscular therapies, myofascial release, deep tissue, sports, clinical training, Thai Royal and Commoner methods, and Thai Hands Free to name a few.  These techniques are brought in as needed to address stress, muscle imbalance, pain, dysfunction, and physical limitations with the goal of restoring health and well-being.  Clinical assessments and testing are also performed as needed through-out your session. 

Stress Relief... The (60) minute sessions of Thai, Traditional Table, Pre-Natal, and Lymphatic massage, along with the (90) minute Thai table massage are all ideal choices for stress relief, relaxation, whole body balance and well-being, improved muscle, connective tissue, and fascia health, as well as increased body mobility.  Each has particular benefits and are recommended based upon what you would like to experience.

Pain... Clinical sessions target specific muscle groups to work with pain and recovery from accident, injury, and other physical limitations.  Clinical work can be arranged for (30) minutes or longer in duration depending upon the treatment plan best suited for presenting issues and the goal of treatment.

Combination... A minimum of (90) minutes is recommended for all Bodywork sessions where whole body balancing along with pain relief and recovery are the objective.  This is our most popular choice for the lasting results commonly experienced.  Please keep in mind that any injury or malfunction in one part of the body will kinetically affect the entire body balance, therefore Bodywork sessions of (90) minutes are highly recommended.  Most often it has taken time for your body to become imbalanced and it takes time to balance and correct.  The most lasting benefits have been experienced from successive weekly sessions for 3 weeks, with a re-evaluation on the 3rd session.

Determining root cause of body imbalance along with client education are a consideration, and often vital to maintaining the benefits experienced coming out of a session.  Your input and feedback before, during, and after sessions, as well as participation outside of sessions, are very important to the success of treatment.  Be an active participant by asking questions about things you don't understand, and communicate with your therapist at any time about pressure and your comfort level.  Whether your goal is relaxation or pain relief, remember that all massage sessions are entirely for your benefit.  Your wishes will be honored and respected fully.

Thai For Your Feet

Relax and enjoy this rejuvenating and balancing healing experience.  Each foot treatment begins with a special Thai foot soak made with coconut milk, ginger, citrus and herbal extract blends.  The feet and lower legs are stimulated with an exfoliating polish, followed by a restorative Thai massage including reflex acupressure and Sen line stimulation.  Experience increased health and well-being by improving circulation and toxin removal, stress release, reduced stiffness, increased flexibility, and immune system support.  This service may be scheduled by itself, or included with other massage and/or spa treatments.  [Can not be given where there are open cuts and wounds, hyper skin sensitivities, bacterial, fungal, or any other infectious conditions present.]

Thai Facial & Neck Treatment

Relax on the soft and inviting massage table as tight muscles are released with massage and acupressure to your shoulders, neck, and face.  Stimulating Thai energy points in addition to specialized massage techniques relaxes tense muscles, promotes energy flow and detoxifies the body, all the while easing you toward a deep state of well-being.  Each session finishes with therapeutic neck stretches and a stimulating scalp massage for a truly stress-releasing and healing experience.  Your session can be modified to address specific issues such as sinus conditions, injuries & trauma, headaches, and facial fluid retention.  This service may be scheduled by itself, or included with other massage and/or spa treatments.  [Can not be given where there is sunburn, rosacea, open cuts and wounds, hyper skin sensitivities, bacterial and/or infectious skin conditions present.]

Steamed Thai Herbal Ball Treatment (LPK)

Luk Pra Kob body and facial balls are filled with the therapeutic herbs of Thai Traditional Medicine and steamed to activate their potential.  Healing and comforting to sore, aching and tender muscles.  When used in a facial, skin is left feeling soft and smooth with a warm, youthful glow.  This highly restorative and ancient Thai treatment can be done on either the massage table or floor mat, with or without clothing.  This is your therapeutic answer to sore and aching muscles, or anywhere soothing treatment is needed.  Steamed herbal compresses are massaged in the skin and muscles to relieve sore and aching muscles, stiff joints, invigorate and nourish the skin, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation of blood and lymph.  Thai herbal balls make a great addition to your regular massage or facial session, or by themselves in a full body massage session.  [Can not be given where there is sunburn, open cuts and wounds, hyper skin sensitivities, bacterial and/or infectious skin conditions present, or when medications are being taken that react to heat.]

HOURS:

Flexible hours are available Monday through Friday based upon availability.  Same day appointments are rare, so please call in advance to book your session.  Sessions are by appointment only.  No walk-ins accepted.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:

Gift Certificates are available for a specific time, or service offered.



GROUP EVENTS:

In-home massage sessions for more than one person per visit will be considered at the therapists discretion.  Each massage is priced at the standard rate of service with the addition of a $25.00 group charge for travel and set up.  Extra travel charges may apply depending upon distance and location.



CANCELLATION POLICY:

A minimum of 24 hours is required for a cancellation.  If less than 24 hours notice is given, the client may be charged for the price of the session.



PAYMENT TERMS:

Pricing subject to change without notice.
Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.  All major credit cards are accepted.
Payment in full is required at the time of your session.
Full payment is due upfront on all session package deals.
Payment is required before receipt of gift certificates.
